Common questions

Kids cannot find the family

On the welcome screen, tap Join a Family and enter the Family Code shown to the parent after setup, plus the child's 4-digit PIN.

Forgot a PIN

We cannot recover PINs because they are stored as one-way hashes. A parent who can still open Parent mode can remove and re-add a child. If the Parent PIN is lost, email us with your Family Code.

Restore Parent Tools

On the parent's device, open Parent mode → Settings → Restore purchase. Use the same Apple ID or Google account that bought Parent Tools.

Delete my family's data

Email us with your Family Code and the words “please delete this family.” We remove associated records within 30 days.
