Getting started

Saving a recipe from a website

Copy the recipe's link, open Scroll2Stove, paste it into the “Add a recipe” box on the Recipes tab, and tap Create Recipe. Scroll2Stove reads the page and pulls out the ingredients and steps for you.

Saving from Instagram or Facebook

Tap the share button on the post, then choose Scroll2Stove from the share sheet. The app opens and offers to create the recipe. You can also paste the post's link directly into the app.

Setting allergies and dietary preferences

Open the Diet tab and select your allergies, dietary restrictions, and any ingredients you'd rather avoid. Scroll2Stove checks every recipe you save against these and suggests substitutions.

Building a shopping list

Open a recipe, tap Add to List in the Ingredients section, select the items you need, and confirm. Everything collects on the Shopping tab, grouped by recipe. Adjust the servings first and the amounts are scaled for you.

Planning your week

On the Plan tab, pick a day and tap a Breakfast, Lunch, or Dinner slot to assign a saved recipe. Add week sends every ingredient from that week's plan to your shopping list at once.

Cooking timers

When a recipe step mentions a time (“bake for 25 minutes”), a timer chip appears beneath it. Tap it to start a countdown; you'll get a notification when it's done. Tap the flame icon in a recipe to keep your screen awake while you cook.

Subscription and billing

Scroll2Stove is free to save your first 5 recipes — no subscription and no payment details required. After that, a Premium subscription unlocks unlimited recipe imports, allergy-aware substitutions, cooking timers, nutrition per serving, and shopping list generation. Recipes you've already saved stay available whether or not you subscribe.

• Price: billed monthly and renews automatically. The exact price for your region is shown on the subscription screen before you confirm. There is no free trial period.
• How to subscribe: tap Upgrade in the top-right of the Recipes tab, or open the Diet tab and tap Upgrade to Premium.
• Restoring a purchase: if you've subscribed before, on this device or another one signed in to the same Apple ID, open the subscription screen and tap Restore Purchases.
• Managing or cancelling: subscriptions are handled by Apple, not by us. On your iPhone, open Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions, select Scroll2Stove, and choose to change or cancel your plan. Cancel at least 24 hours before your renewal date to avoid the next charge.
• Refunds: Apple processes all App Store refunds. Request one at https://reportaproblem.apple.com/

Troubleshooting

A recipe didn't import correctly

Some pages are laid out in ways that are hard to read automatically. You can fix anything by hand: tap a recipe's title to rename it, tap any ingredient to edit its amount or name, and use + Add Ingredient for anything that was missed. If a particular site fails consistently, email us the link and we'll look into it.

The recipe screen won't load

Scroll2Stove needs an internet connection to import recipes. Check your connection and try again.

My subscription isn't recognised

Tap Restore Purchases on the subscription screen and make sure you're signed in to the same Apple ID used for the original purchase.

Nutrition information is missing

Nutrition is estimated from the USDA FoodData Central database. Very unusual or brand-specific ingredients sometimes can't be matched, so totals are approximate and shouldn't be relied on for medical purposes.

Allergy warnings

Scroll2Stove flags ingredients based on the preferences you set, but it can't guarantee it will catch everything — imported recipes vary widely in how they describe ingredients. Always check ingredients yourself if you have a severe allergy.
